About Me

I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where I am completing a dissertation entitled “Late-Victorian Queer, Decadent Classicism,” teaching Victorian literature, queer theory, and classics, and working for The Dickens Project. I am a contributor to the Victorian Lives and Letters Consortium’s Michael Field Online Diaries project and am currently transcribing Michael Field’s poetry journals from the Bodleian Library. As a Dickens Project scholar and Friend of the Dickens Project, I have worked as a GSR copy-editor for the new Oxford Companion to Charles Dickens, organize community and educational outreach, and currently digitalizing the Dickens Project archive.
